How doing less changes everything.
If you're running on empty, overwhelmed by advice, and too stretched to add one more thing to your plate…
This one's for you.
Somewhere between the science-based workout videos, the macro trackers, and the seventeen supplements everyone insists you need… it's easy to feel like you're not doing enough.
There's a name for that feeling: FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out.
We usually talk about it with vacations or social plans. But it shows up just as strong in health and wellness - the fear of not doing the newest “protocol”, or you're doing it “wrong”, or that you need something “new” to help you get results.
Here's the truth: that fear is manufactured.
The Health and Wellness industry thrives on making you feel like something is missing. Because the more “behind” you feel… the more you buy, track, and add.
If you’re willing to look at a different perspective, one that relieves you from the rat race… let’s explore the Pareto Principle - also known as the 80/20 rule.
This is the principle that roughly 80% of results come from 20% of actions.
Not every habit carries equal weight.
A few key actions do most of the work. Focus on what moves the needle most.
You don't need ALL of it. You need your 20%.
Here's what this could look like:
- Sleep: A consistent bed time and 10 minutes of morning sunlight.
- Nutrition: Cook real food at home, most of the time.
- Movement: Three intentional days, with real recovery.
- Environment: Swap one product at a time - water bottle, cleaning spray, skincare.
- Mindset: Three honest minutes asking, "what do I actually need right now?"
📝 Here's your permission slip to stop chasing the other 80%. Ask yourself, "what's my 20%?" - simply start there.
This is not settling. This a strategy to free up time, mental space, and physical energy.
If this feels challenging, it may be because knowing your 20% and doing it are two different things. The gap between them is almost always mindset - old beliefs, self-doubt, the story that says "this won't work for me". The saying “old habits die hard” … is a real thing. 🤍
